Human Rights Day

Human Rights Day is an annual AEGEE project, first implemented in 2017, celebrated on and around December 10th. It reflects AEGEE’s commitment to advocating for human rights and tackling discrimination on multiple grounds. Each year, the project team coordinates a network-wide campaign and publishes a booklet of activities that AEGEE Locals can use to organise their own events - from workshops and forums to human library sessions - in the lead-up to International Human Rights Day.  The 2026 edition, titled Equal Opportunities for Youth in a Just Transition, is funded by Generation Climate Europe through the Funding Fairer Futures campaign [...]

Y Vote

Y Vote is an AEGEE project at its 5th edition, having successfully run campaigns in 2009, 2014, 2019, and 2024, with a current edition focusing on youth participation in democracy. Its goal is to raise awareness among young people about the importance of voting in the European, national and local elections, their role in political activism, and the impact of the European Parliament on their everyday life. Summer University

The Summer University (SU) project has been at the heart of AEGEE since 1988, born out of a commitment to promoting European integration. Today its purpose remains the same: giving young people the chance to experience the diversity of European cultures and develop a deeper understanding of what it means to live in a multicultural society.  Organised by AEGEE Locals across Europe, Summer Universities last from six days to four weeks and combine thematic workshops, non-formal education, and social activities. Europe on Track

Europe on Track (EoT) is an AEGEE volunteer project active since 2013, raising awareness of the role of young people in shaping cultural and civic engagement across Europe. Each year, six ambassadors travel by train through the whole continent in one month, delivering workshops, interviewing young people, and organising events in cooperation with volunteers from across the Network. An online team ensures further reach and inclusivity. AEGEE Day

AEGEE Day is an annual celebration held on and around April 16th – the day marking the foundation of AEGEE in 1985. Launched in 2016, the project unites the entire AEGEE Network around a shared theme, with the goal of organising at least one activity per Local to celebrate the organisation’s values and spirit regardless of where members are based.
