Let’s Break the Erasmus Bubble
International students often face challenges when arriving in a new country: administrative barriers, unfamiliar systems, and a tendency to remain within closed peer communities - the so-called “Erasmus bubble” - can prevent full integration into local life. This Erasmus+ project addresses those challenges by strengthening the inclusion of international students across Europe, ensuring full integration in their host countries and promoting engagement with local communities. It aims to streamline administrative procedures, develop tools and events that foster connections between local and international students, and train key stakeholders in the welcome chain to promote deeper cross-cultural integration.
