AEGEE Day is an annual celebration held by AEGEE. It is typically celebrated on or around April 18th, the date marking the foundation of the organization in 1985.
This day serves as a symbolic moment to celebrate the unity and cultural diversity of AEGEE, to reflect on youth empowerment and connect local AEGEE antennas through events and initiatives.
Each year, AEGEE locals across Europe organise a variety of activities to celebrate such as:
– Workshops and seminars on European topics and engagement
– Cultural exchanges and themed events highlighting local traditions
– Social activities and parties
– Volunteering and community outreach programs
In 2025, AEGEE turned 40 years old! To celebrate, a special celebration was held with a training event and a gala in Groningen, bringing together members from across Europe to consecrate the four decades of AEGEE.
