The OSCE is the world’s largest world’s largest regional security organization and has a comprehensive approach to security that encompasses politico-military, economic and environmental, and human aspects. It addresses a wide range of security-related concerns, including arms control, confidence- and security-building measures, human rights, national minorities, democratization, policing strategies, counter- terrorism and economic and environmental activities. All 57 participating States enjoy equal status, and decisions are taken by consensus on a politically, but not legally binding basis. AEGEE- Europe and OSCE maintain their link through AEGEE’s Liaison Officer towards the OSCE. This year OSCE representatives provided a workshop for the Conference ‘Citizenship at its Grassroots’ by AEGEE- Warszawa and ECWG, OSCE has provided support for AEGEE Election Observation Project and in the preparations for the organisation of a side event during the Human Dimension Implementation Meeting 2018.
