We believe that if we want to have a real impact, it is crucial to act locally. Because of that one of the main pillars of the project constitutes the activities which will be carried out by the local antennae throughout the network.
In order to have a real impact on young people’s participation in the upcoming EP elections, it is necessary that as many locals as possible implement local activities in their own community.
Hence, we have prepared for you:
- A Locals’Toolkit, with a lot of different ideas for activities that can be organised,
- A methodology guide, to provide locals with some advice on how to organise a workshop,
- Model workshop presentations that can be used by locals.
You can also have your activity visible on this map:
It is important to inform Katarzyna Białożyt, Content Manager, responsible for local activities, about your intention to organise a local activity on the EP elections. We will include your antenna and your action on the map and we will be able to help you. It is also very important for us to know where and when the local activities are organised.
Locals organising local activities should be in direct contact with the Y Vote 2014 Ambassadors.
The ambassadors are here to:
- encourage antennae to take part in the Y Vote project, help in the promotion of the project;
- inform you about the possible activities you can do on the local level;
- help with organization of European conferences (in cooperation with the responsible of the Youth Agenda);
- make sure that we give visibility from all the local activities which are taking place in the network.
Get in touch with your Ambassador:
Below you can find a list of the Y Vote 2014 Ambassadors with AEGEE-locals they take care of. If you have any questions, ideas or you want to become a part of the project, please conact your ambassador.
