With YEP 2.0., we aim to encourage young people to vote and be a part of the European discussions.<\/p>\n<p>Our objectives are to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Inform about the European Parliament as an institution and the upcoming election.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Educate about the importance of European citizenship, the democratic process of\u00a0civic participation. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Open a dialogue and empower young people to become active citizens. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our projects are divided into various online and offline activities at local and European levels. It includes workshops, conferences, debates or discussions revolving around the youth and its issues. The activities are listed as such:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project team meetings<\/li>\n<li>Training for facilitators<\/li>\n<li>Week of Europe \u2013 with AEGEE-Delft<\/li>\n<li>Action Tours<\/li>\n<li>Regional Multiplier Meetings<\/li>\n<li>European Democracy Day \u2013 with AEGEE-Bucharest<\/li>\n<li>Young European Activists\u2019 Hub or YEAH Festival &#8211; with AEGEE- Torino, ToGather and the city of Turin (website: <a href=\"http:\/\/yeahub.eu\">http:\/\/yeahub.eu<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>Social media campaign<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>YEP 2.0. is in partnership with a larger communication campaign launched by the European Parliament called \u201c#thistimeimvoting\u201d. The initiative is to raise and reinforce the awareness about the importance of voting as well as supporting the engagement of young citizens.
