Open Call: Trainers and Case Manager of the

Mobility Training School

Dear friends,

for some time now AEGEE-Mannheim is preparing the MTS - Mobility Training School - the aims of which are to raise the quality of the work of students who work together with their universities to promote semesters abroad!

In other words: some 24 active students will assemble in Mannheim between the 2nd an 9th Amrch 2008 ...
1. ... to exchange their experiences amongst themselves, with politicians and representatives from economy and university
2. ....to learn about the significance of their work as regards to European higher education policies
3. ... to gain competences in the field of workshop design/ project management and present their ideas to representatives from the university administration and the German Ministry for Education and Research,
4. ... and to ideally work on a REAL project on mobility by the end of the training.

Supported by the German Ministry of Education and Research the money issue already has been solved. A draft programme also exists (but can be subject to change of course).

We also have a totally motivated team in Mannheim, BUT we are still looking for trainers :-) including a case manager.

Your profile:
1. you can give a 20min ES1-style training on project management, how to design your workshop or fundraising (institutional and/or corporate)
2. you are familiar with the AEGEE casework methodology
3. you are interested in leading daily reflection groups of approx. 4 ppl.
4. you have lived abroad! (not absolutely necessary, but quite good :-))
5. you LOVE your NGO-work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
