Main aim and task:
Supporting AEGEE and to enabling oldies to stay in touch.
Activities:
- Events such as General Assembly, Back2Brussels reunion, Les Anciens New Year’s event, LA Goes Agora, and more.
- The Golden Oldie: the online news magazine of Les Anciens, which is a platform where news is posted about Les Anciens and AEGEE in general.
History:
Les Anciens d’AEGEE was founded as an alumni organisation of AEGEE in 1990, and it is open to everyone who has been active in AEGEE and has finished their active involvement, as long as two Les Anciens members recommend him or her. It does not matter if you are a current member of AEGEE or not, what is important is that you carry no official position in AEGEE when applying for Les Anciens.
The Les Anciens d’AEGEE team is open to everyone who wants to join and much more information can be found on their website.
Getting Involved
Having been active either on European level (CD, WG, Commission, Project), in a local board or in the organisation of events is the requirement for joining Les Anciens.
