AEGEE is basically enabling friendships across Europe. Want to have friends in 40 countries, want to visit them in 240 cities all over Europe? Want to learn about other cultures but not as a tourist? We offer you Europe. Travel, languages, learning. It's not about your studies, it's not about your job. It's about you.
In AEGEE, everybody can make things happen, according to his/her interests. In 2009, we cared about the European Elections so we organised a huge campaign including a one month bustour through the United Kingdom and 10 large conventions in different cities. In summer, more than 3,000 young students and recent graduates attend one of the 100 Summer Universities organised all over Europe. You can also visit a PR-training seminar, a course about wine in Hungary, a journey through Russia per Siberian Express and much more..
Why do we do it? Because we love Europe. We hate borders, we dont like boring this-is-another-country's-
We don't enhance your CV, we don't give you internships. We don't care if you're studying medicine or law, engineering or international relations, as long as you think. As long as you care what life is about, care about friends and experiences beyond your curriculum. And don't you say you dont have time. When did you plan to live?
